Guillotine Basses are designed to be easy to play, simple to use, and great to hear. These instruments all aim to be as convenient as possible for you, the musician! If you're wondering "why short-scale?" or "why headless?" or even "why this particular wood?", it's usually because it's the most convenient, hassle-free option. The specs below are standard for all Guillotine instruments:30" Short Scale

The SESHBASS gives you an instrument that fits into any genre of music without fuss; vintage tone and feel make sure that bandleaders and session engineers are happy.
The GIGBASS is designed for the rigorous demands of live music, from it's powerful low B to its near-active sounding pickups that handle slap just as well as fingerstyle.
Finally, the SOLOBASS takes a wild, extended range "boutique" bass and makes it as no-frills as it gets, giving you chordal and soloistic tones without anything extra.While all of these models have standard specifications (listed below), I'm happy to tweak a few things to your preferences. Things like color, wood selection, pickup placement, neck profile, and even the addition of levered "drop-tuners" can all be arranged.If you'd like active electronics, I'll happily recommend another builder.
